Thank you for visiting the San Diego Half Marathon Community Information page. The San Diego Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, March 9, 2014 and is a community nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with all net proceeds going towards community service projects and charities in San Diego. We look forward to giving back in the months and years to come.

You Are Invited
On March 7 and 8, 2014, you are invited to join our Sport, Health, & Fitness Expo at the beautiful Broadway Pier. On race day, Sunday, March 9, we invite you to show your San Diego community spirit and cheer on runners as they travel through your neighborhood!  For detailed timing, use our online Spectator Guide.

Parking
Please be advised that parking your vehicle along the route on race day is not allowed in many areas. ”No Parking” signs will be posted 72 hours prior to the race, along with the date and time that the “No Parking” will be in effect. Cars in violation of “No Parking” signs  will be subject to towing.

Schedule – Sunday, March 9, 2014
7:14 AM: 5K Start (University Ave.)
7:20 AM: Half Marathon Start (Tony Gwynn Dr.)
7:30 AM – 1:00 PM: Celebrate San Diego @ The Gaslamp Block Party Event
8:15 AM*: End of 5K
11:00 AM*: End of Half Marathon

Traffic Information, by Neighborhood:

Road detours will be in effect in the communities of: East Village, the San Diego Port Tenants Association & Harbor Island, Liberty Station, Liberty Station 7, MCRD, Mission Hills, Hillcrest, Park West/Bankers Hill, Uptown & the Gaslamp Quarter.  If you plan to travel on race day, expect traffic delays when runners will be on the roads from approximately 7:14am-11:30am. Please watch for San Diego Police Traffic Control directions.  To mitigate any potential impacts of these road closures, the following downloadable resources are available in advance:
